Driftwood House is a residential interior design studio based in Port Washington, New York, serving homeowners across Long Island, New York City, and beyond. We help people reimagine the rooms they use most (kitchens, bathrooms, pantries, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and whole homes) so they work beautifully for the way they actually live.

Design that starts with how you live

Every home has spaces that don't quite work: the kitchen with no landing space, the bathroom that hasn't been touched in thirty years, the mudroom that's really just a pile by the door. We begin by understanding your routines, priorities, and budget, then design around them. The result is a space that feels effortless day to day and still looks right years from now, because it was built on thoughtful planning rather than passing trends.

An eye shaped by fine art

Founder Alyssa Boggia brings a perspective few designers share. As a fourth-generation member of one of New York's premier fine art galleries, she has spent her career studying composition, proportion, scale, and color, and helping collectors bring those same qualities into their homes. That trained eye informs every Driftwood House project, from the flow of a floor plan to the finish on a cabinet pull.

A clear, focused approach

Driftwood House is a design studio, not a general contractor. We focus on what we do best: developing the design and documenting it clearly. Our signature Design Intent Package gives you and your contractor a complete, organized plan with floor plans, elevations, lighting layouts, and finish and fixture schedules, so your vision is communicated clearly from the start. When you want more support, we can stay involved during construction and manage the ordering and delivery of your selections, giving you one point of contact through the details that tend to fall through the cracks.

Where to begin

Most clients start with a Vision Session, a 90-minute consultation to explore what's possible for your space before committing to a full design. From there, we'll map out the right next step for your project.
